I grew up in Houston, Texas and developed a love for baseball that borders on insanity. I played through high school (and college intramurals), wrote high school and college papers on Jackie Robinson and Joe DiMaggio as an American symbol during World War II. I culminated my experiences with baseball in academia by writing my thesis on the Hall of Fame, its structure, and the resulting impact on Power Era players. After graduation, I worked in the Business Development and Financial Operations Departments with the New York Yankees from June 2009 - January 2010. My switching careers has provided enough time to attempt and blog about this epic baseball journey.
